The week these photos were taken, the Brinley Middle School Family Writing Project families were sharing stories about their lives.   Parents drew maps depicting where they lived as children, and then shared those maps on the overhead projector.  The kids' maps showed where they live now, in Las Vegas.  Everyone, parents and children, wrote about their maps.  The activity allowed the project's children to gain insight into their parents lives.   Parents, too, learned much about how the children view their world.
